| Personal Statement: | |
|
I am a happily married family man with two daughters who has now spent more than thirty years practising medicine in the South of England. I have specialised in neurology for the last twenty years. I am a fully accredited Consultant Clinical Neurologist and Neurophysiologist (one of the very few individuals to have joint accreditation in the UK). I have run an active research unit dealing with migraine, epilepsy and multiple sclerosis patients for the last ten years. I have published extensively and have undertaken many presentations on a world wide basis within neurology. I lecture frequently to many different groups of colleagues locally, nationally and internationally. I have a medico-legal practice and have been undertaking reports for both Claimants and Defendants for more than fifteen years. Recently I am frequently instructed on a joint basis under the new legal reforms in the UK. I am a general clinical neurologist but have developed specific interests in headache, epilepsy and multiple sclerosis. |
